A Night @ Redland
CF Redland is official. First Baptist Church Redlands has voted to become Christ Fellowship Redland. Welcome on board. For those of you that may have blinked over the past 6 months, CF Redland is our fourth campus in Miami.
Today was a crazy day. I got to go look at the campus, and then went back a second time to meet with volunteers. By the time many of you read this Tuesday AM, I'll be back at CFR a third time to discuss equipment.
When all is said and done I am, needless to say, excited. Go figure.
The worship service at CFR will be intimate. That is the strength of the campus, and we'll be recreating that in the service. The worship venue will be warm, cozy, comfortable.
CFR already has a great group of Media volunteers. James Easom is the head audio guy, and Eric Miller is the video go to guy. Ironically, I grew up with James, and we have several mutual friends. I didn't realize until today he was "the guy" I had heard so much about. I called James up this afternoon and asked if we could get together over the next couple days. He said, "well, what about tonight?" After meeting with Eric and James this evening for a couple hours, I am pumped. Their system is already in place, and we will only have to make some minor changes to get them on par with what we want to do. They have done an incredible job with the resources they have, and I cannot wait to see what they will be producing very soon @ CFR. These are hardworking guys. That's not going to change anytime soon.
We are going to need help, though. On the CFR campus there will be eight worship services every weekend (two adult, two youth, two children, two preschool), and their Media volunteers will be stretched due to all those venues. We need reinforcements! If you're on the CFPB campus, consider helping Media at CFR. We need the help!
God thank you for another opportunity. Thank you for allowing us to use these talents to further the kingdom. May we use these resources to your honor.
Holy Crap, Jeff Reed. Lookout LifeChurch, CF is taking over.
